I am an interdisciplinary artist who combines photography and textiles to visually anatomize inquiries into queerness and phenomenology. The tension between the opacity of abstraction and the transparency of image making materially corresponds to my own navigation of visibility in daily life. By intimately manipulating and transposing images to cotton and subsequently hand-sewing, weaving, collaging, and quilting the fabric into textile objects, I explore this paradox of visibility.
